The regular scheduled Workshop Meeting of the Woodsboro Town Council was held on Monday, April 25, 2005 at the Town Hall with the following members present:

Burgess Trimmer, Commissioners Morgan, Smith, Kline and Hub. Burgess Trimmer called the meeting to order.

Burgess Trimmer opened the meeting by reading a letter from the American Legion in reference to the Memorial Day Parade.  The parade will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2005.  The parade will start off at Mt. Hope Cemetery beginning at 1:30 PM.

The next line of business was with Sonny Huff concerning moving the property line at Arnold Alley.  After a lengthy discussion on the issue a motion was passed 3-0 to leave things as they are.  There was one abstention from the vote.

Burgess Trimmer discussed with the Council several lines of business.  He informed them that the letters of credit for the Woodbury sub-division have been signed and the items being purchased with the USDA grant funds have been ordered.  The mower and snowblower are already purchased in our possession.

Commissioner Kline opened discussion on the mess at Donsife Alley.  He suggested we contact the property owners to have things cleaned up.  Burgess Trimmer agreed to speak with them.  Mr. Kline also opened discussion on the mess at the back of American Eagle.  He informed the Council of them moving tires from the front to the back of the property.  This is not approved according to the previous letter that went out to them.  The last line of business Mr. Kline discussed was four unlicensed vehicles parked in the LaRoche driveway at 606 Scarlet Oak Court.  Mr. Kline suggested a letter and a copy of the code be sent to this resident.

The last line of business was finalizing the 2006 budget.  Burgess Trimmer led the Council through each line item until everything was finalized. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.

Respectfully submitted,
