CORPORATION OF WOODSBORO

Tuesday, December 10, 2002

The regular monthly meeting of the Woodsboro Town Council was held on Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at the Fire Hall at 7:00 pm. In attendance were Burgess Trimmer, Commissioners Smith, Hub and Kline, and 3 residents.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. The minutes from the previous meeting were reviewed. There being no corrections or additions, Commissioner Kline motioned to accept the minutes as presented. Commissioner Smith seconded. Passed 3-0.

Burgess Trimmer said several residents have completed sidewalk projects. The Town’s audit is complete. All the piping is in on Church Alley. The paving is not done yet.

The treasurer’s report was reviewed. Commissioner Kline motioned to accept the treasurer’s report. Commissioner Hub seconded. Passed 3-0.

Burgess Trimmer said that we have gotten two prices on a new truck so far. This will be discussed further at the next meeting.

The tap fee increase from $2500.00 to $5000.00 each presented last month was discussed. Commissioner Kline motioned to approve the increase effective immediately. Commissioner Hub seconded. Passed 3-0.

There will be no December workshop.

The following bills were approved for payment: General Engineering, Transply, AT&T, Verizon, Mid Atlantic, N. Z. Cramer, Donald Gladhill, Allegheny Power, Wind River Environmental, Arro Consulting, Eichelberger’s, Inc., H. B. Duvall, Woodsboro NAPA Auto, D & D Safe & Lock, and Trout’s Restaurant.

There being no further business to discuss, Commissioner Smith motioned to adjourn the meeting.
