The regular monthly meeting of the Woodsboro Town Council was held on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at the Fire Hall at 7:00 pm. In attendance were Burgess Trimmer, Commissioners Morgan, Hub, Smith and Kline, Tracey Whitehouse of McGladrey and Pullen and 4 residents.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM. Tracey Whitehouse of McGladrey & Pullen presented the Town’s audit. She said the Town appears to be healthy and stable. Commissioner Kline motioned to approve the auditors report. Commissioner Hub seconded. Passed 4-0.

The minutes from the last meeting were reviewed. There being no corrections or additions, Burgess Trimmer said the minutes would stand as presented.

There will be a progress meeting on the WWTP upgrade on 12/10/03. The upgrade is running approximately 1 month ahead of schedule.

The Community Deputy Program has been suspended until March. This has been a very successful program and Burgess Trimmer said he is hopeful it will be re-started in the Spring.

The Town will receive $2700.00 from FEMA to help cover the expenses of last years snowstorm.

There will be a bulk trash pick-up for residents of Woodsboro on 12/15/03.

American Eagle Automotive still hasn’t submitted their final site plan.

Planning and Zoning will discuss Woodbury, the development at the livestock property, at their meeting on 12/10/03.

The treasurer’s report was reviewed. Commissioner Kline motioned to accept the treasurer’s report as presented. Commissioner Hub seconded. Passed 4-0.

Burgess Trimmer said that the street sweeper will not be used until the snow is gone.

The following bills were approved for payment: Allegheny Power, Arro Consulting, AT&T, Ferguson Enterprises, Fogle’s Septic, MG Industries, Staples, Verizon, Saylor’s Hardware, AC&T, Donald Gladhill, Gladhill Tractor Mart, H. B. Duvall, N. Z. Cramer, Trout’s Market, and Woodsboro NAPA.

There being no further business to discuss, Commissioner Morgan motioned to adjourn the meeting.
