American Legion Post 282. Within its walls many enjoyable hours have been spent
at meetings, programs and special events. Glen W. Eyler
Post 282 was formed in the summer of 1959 with regular meetings held the
third Wednesday of every month. The post supports a wide range of activities
contributing heavily to Woodsboro's Town Park , Woodsboro New Midway
Recreation Council, Fire Departments, Martinsburg VA Hospital, College
Scholarships, American Legion Fishing Tournament and Camp Wes Mar's Boy
Camp.
