Free Home or Business Security Survey

You can receive a FREE home survey and report on the security of your home by simply contacting the Frederick County Sheriff's Department and making an appointment. This service is also available to businesses within Frederick County. People have paid hundreds of dollars for the same service from private companies. As a resident of Frederick County, you can receive this service at no charge. All of the inspectors are professionally trained and affiliated with the Frederick County Sheriff Department. Some are actual Sheriff Deputy's and some are trained professionals.

The following description was provided by the Sheriff's Department:

A member of the Sheriff's office will inspect and point out weaknesses in the home and points of vulnerability to improve the security of the home, thus, increasing family safety. Survey's are performed by a trained individual and takes approximately 45 - 60 minutes. This service is free to the public.
