St. John’s United Church of Christ We are a warm, caring congregation of individuals and families. Worship marks the highlight of our life together. We gather seeking God’s presence, praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and listening to Christ’s call. We nurture the spirits of all ages and backgrounds through Bible study and small group discussion opportunities. We care for one another through regular fellowship and our prayer hotline. We participate in mission activities throughout the year in our community and beyond in an effort to live as Christ’s disciples and show God’s love for all people. We are proud to be part of the United Church of Christ, a denomination whose faith is over 2000 years old, but whose thinking is not! Regardless of who you are or where you are on life’s journey we accept you in the name of Christ. St. John's United Church of Christ actively supports the Walkersville Food Band and Glade Valley Community Services, Inc.  We host several Girl Scout Troops and the Rosewood Condominium Association.  We are always eager to support our community.
